My view is that in ideal situation, builder and designer should be working as a team. Knowing what each does best and work together when building progresses. Often designers are no longer involved when building process commences, which is why some builders learned valuable skills in making some design decisions on site.

But I am wondering if they don't find it risky? One design decision can have a domino effect on next stages..
